Indian River Juvenile Detention Center
Info: This was a retrofit project where SAS replaced an outdated touchscreen control system with a new non-proprietary Omron PLC based system. SAS provided door control and reused the existing analog intercom system headend. Additional intercom stations were connected to the system. New controlled and monitored doors were also connected to the system. A data-logging system was installed to record security transactions on the PLC/touchscreen system. This project included design, installation, programming, testing and training.
Clermont County Juvenile Detention Center
Location: Batavia, OH
Info: SAS retrofitted an Advantech touchscreen control system with a non-proprietary system. The existing , obsolete Jeron intercom system was replaced with a new Harding DXL digital intercom system. All existing Advidia and Hikvision IP cameras were replaced with new Axis IP cameras. An exacq Technologies video management system was installed and interfaced with the new touchscreens for camera call-up and display. A data logging system with audio recording capability was installed. This project included design, programming, cable installation, demolition of existing security electronics equipment, installation of new field devices and head-end equipment, testing and training.

Warren Correctional Institution

Info: This facility houses male offenders for the Ohio Dept. of Rehabilitation and Correction. SAS provided a door and utility control system retrofit. Existing pushbutton control panels were retrofitted with new tablet PC’s running Indusoft HMI software. This project included design, programming, panel assembly, demolition, installation, testing and training.
Illinois River Correctional Facility
Location: Canton, Illinois
Approximate Bed Capacity: 1970
Info: This facility houses medium-security adult male inmates for the Illinois Department of Corrections. SAS provided a door and intercom system retrofit. The existing touchscreen system was retrofitted with a new non-proprietary Omron PLC-based touchscreen control system utilizing Indusoft HMI software. This project was a total turnkey solution that included design, installation, programming, electrical work, testing and training.
Kendall County Courthouse & Jail Project
Info: The existing touchscreen system was retrofitted with a new non-proprietary Omron PLC based touchscreen control system utilizing Indusoft HMI software. SAS provided door control, a new digital intercom system, a new access control system, a new digital video recording system and all new IP cameras and cabling were installed. The existing intrusion detection system at the Courthouse was replaced with a new system and interfaced to motion sensors. Select locks at the jail and Courthouse were replaced with new. A data-logging system was installed to record security transactions on the PLC/touchscreen system. This project included design, demolition, conduit/cable installation, installation of new equipment, programming, testing and training.
Lawrence County Courthouse
Info: This project consisted of replacing the obsolete DVR System with a new digital video management system at the Main Courthouse, installing several new IP cameras and reusing existing analog cameras to monitor the facility. SAS provided installation of the new IP Cameras and glass break detectors, and head-end equipment, testing and training.
Michigan City Police Station
Info: This was a new construction project where SAS provided a non-proprietary Omron PLC-based touchscreen control system. SAS provided door control, a digital intercom system, an access control system, cameras and a digital video recording system. A data-logging system was installed to record security transactions on the PLC/touchscreen system. This project included design, panel assembly, programming, testing and training.
City of Portage Police Station
Info: This was a new construction project where SAS provided an access control system, intercom system and a digital video system to record all the new cameras. Omron PLC equipment was provided to control and monitor the vehicular sally port doors and officer duress system. This project included design, panel assembly, programming, testing and training.

Hancock County Jail
Location: Greenfield, Indiana
Info: This was a design, bid, build project. SAS was responsible for providing a new PLC-based touchscreen control system, which included door, intercom, CCTV, utility, and proximity access control. A data-logging system was installed to record security transactions on the PLC/touchscreen system. Our scope included all required design, programming, panel assembly, testing and training.

Location: Princeton, Illinois
The new Law Enforcement Center includes: A Sheriff’s Office that houses Sheriff’s Staff, Investigations, Patrol, Dare and Records, 911 Dispatch Center, an 80-bed County Jail, Coroner’s Office and Shared Support Space.
Info: SAS provided a non-proprietary PLC-based touchscreen control system utilizing Omron PLC equipment and Indusoft software for the GUI stations. An interface between the video management system was implemented for camera call-up. An access control system with badging was integrated to provide card reader access throughout the facility. A data-logging system was installed to record security transactions on the PLC/touchscreen system. This project included design, programming, panel assembly, head-end equipment installation, testing and training.
Ottawa County Jail
Location: Port Clinton, Ohio
Info: SAS retrofitted an outdated touchscreen system with a new non-proprietary Omron PLC based touchscreen control system utilizing Indusoft HMI software. SAS provided door control, a new digital intercom system with audio recording, utility control and a data-logging system was installed to record security transactions. The existing video system was integrated for manual and automatic camera call-up. This project included design, demolition of existing equipment, installation of new equipment, programming, testing and training.
